RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

PERMANENT CONTRACT

LOCATION: Newbridge, Co. Kildare/Hybrid 3 days in office

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Recruitment Specialist will manage our full cycle recruiting
processes. This will include identifying current and future hiring
needs, stakeholder management and employer branding.

The Recruitment Specialist will develop and implement a recruitment
strategy to attract and retain prospective talented employees. They
will deliver the end-to-end recruitment pipeline for all vacancies
within Kare, providing a maximized level of candidate experience and
results.

The role will be based in our Head Office in Newbridge with
flexible/hybrid remote working options available.

ESSENTIAL:

* Third Level Qualification in HR, Business, Psychology OR another
related field or 5 years’ experience as a Recruitment Specialist
with a proven track record
* 3+ years' experience in full-cycle recruitment/ talent acquisition
ideally in a high-volume environment

DESIRABLE:

* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
(CIPD) is desirable.
* Experience working in the not-for-profit sector

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

* Agency or in-house recruiting experience is required
* Experience with interviewing, selection and contract negotiation
* Experience with using advertising and social media platforms
* Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage hiring leaders’
expectations
* Highly organised with proven ability to work in fast-paced,
high-pressure environments
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point
* Ability to create recruitment reports and analyse recruitment
statistics and put this information into a report
* Ability to work towards targets and understand recruitment metrics
including time to fill, cost per hire, and source utilization
* A high level of initiative, strong motivation and a well-developed
capacity for self-direction in addition to an ability to work as part
of a flexible team

PERSONAL SKILLS

* Excellent communicator, both written, verbal and presenting;
ability to communicate with diplomacy and manage difficult
conversations
* Ability to use good judgement and discretion to make hiring
decisions in consultation with hiring managers
* Negotiation and persuasion skills
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* High level of emotional intelligence and use of personal intuition
* Excellent organisation skills, ability to work under pressure and
manage priorities
* High level of resilience, able to remain highly effective and
flexible in changing business circumstances
